Leading 10,000

23 Dec Leading 10,000

Students for Life of Illinois will lead the 2016 March for Life Chicago!

In 2012, 200 people attended the March for Life Chicago. In 2016, we are expecting 10,000!

And SFLI will be at the front, leading the way.

You will be sure to see our yellow umbrellas pointing forward to a future full of respect for life.

In addition to leading the march, SFLI chooses one student leader to speak. Many remember Anna Slater’s moving speech 2 years ago when she was the selected student leader. Now, Anna is an SFLI Campus Mentor, continuing to lead students to be pro-life.

MarchforLifeCHI EJ 2017

For the 2016 March for Life Chicago, SFLI selected Eareen “EJ” Yambao from DePaul (pictured above). As President last year, EJ’s humility, courage, and determination transformed DePaul Students for Life into a thriving group. Over the past four years, EJ’s passion and leadership powerfully impacted students and his family. As a senior this year, EJ ensures continued success as he guides younger students in leading the group.
