2012 Day of Silent Solidarity: Give Your Voice For the Voiceless

04 Oct 2012 Day of Silent Solidarity: Give Your Voice For the Voiceless

On Tuesday, October 16th, thousands of students from all over the world will give up their voices for the children who will never have the opportunity to sing, yell, or laugh. Without saying a word, everyone participating in this event will send out a message, loud and clear.

The Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity is about sacrificing something that we take for granted more often than not. How would it feel to not be able to express yourself, to scream, to yell, or to cry out in anguish? I’ve just described what happens to more than 4,000 children every day. Abortion takes a life, it takes a voice. By participating in this day of silence, you make more of a statement than some words ever could.

We encourage you to take part in this day of solidarity and give your voice for those who never had the chance to use theirs. You can register at www.silentday.org and find more information about how to participate there. Remember that although words are powerful, sometimes the most meaningful messages are your actions.
